This is not a snobbery, but the very serious proposal of many pedagogues over the past decade. Speaking Latin or Greek greatly simplifies the acquisition of vocabulary and grammatical rules. In the long run, it provides a real mastery of the language being studied. And it's much more fun!
Online courses
Classes are held online, using the Zoom application. We can agree on a time slot from Monday to Saturday, between 8 am and 8 pm (Central European Time). You will need all the necessary equipment to follow an online course: the Zoom application, a webcam, a microphone, an internet connection with sufficient bandwidth to support video calls...
Latin
I offer a Latin course based on the Ørberg method, which is used by thousands of Latinists around the world.Whether you are a beginner or more advanced, I can guide you through the chapters corresponding to your level of Familia Romana or Roma Aeterna. It is therefore crucial that you get this book.
If you are interested in working with Familia Romana, I also strongly recommend that you buy the Vivarium Novum workbook to support your learning: volume I for chapters I to XIX, volume II for chapters XX to XXXIV.
I follow the ecclesiastical pronunciation of Latin.
Ancient Greek
To learn Greek, we will use the Logos method. The student will have to buy the book and the workbook.
