ARTICLE 7: CREDIT CARD DATA

To purchase digital products or services, it is necessary to insert credit card data. Here is how the data controller handles this information.
For payments and orders, Stripe, a service provided by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd, is used.
Stripe (here is their privacy policy: https://stripe.com/it/privacy, and here are other relevant legal documents: https://stripe.com/legal) is the system used to enable the purchase of digital products or services by paying with credit card.
To make a purchase, you are asked to enter your credit card information on the payment page (this information is the card number, expiration date and the security code - the number on the back).
The data processor does not have access to this information and does not store it on its server. This data is immediately sent to Stripe, which processes and stores it - encrypted - on its servers. In his Stripe account control panel (which he can access to view payment history and uses to manage refunds), Stripe only shows the last four digits of the credit card number. This is the only information the data processor has access to regarding the credit card.
In addition to the encrypted credit card information, Stripe knows the last name, first name and e-mail address, the type of card used - regular or prepaid - and the country of issue. Stripe also has access to certain information about the purchase: day and time, amount, and order number.
Only the data controller has access to this information, and it is not shared with anyone or any service other than those mentioned above.
How can you delete this information? If you wish to delete the information stored on Stripe, please send an email to latine.audio@gmail.com, and the data controller will do it for you.

ARTICLE 8: SUBSCRIPTION TO A MAILING LIST

The email list is the preferred means of communication, information sharing and marketing used by the data controller. To manage it, the Sendinblue platform is used, whose privacy policy can be read at the following page: https://fr.sendinblue.com/legal/privacypolicy.
Let's see in detail what information is collected, where it is kept, with whom it is shared and how it is used.
When a user subscribes to the mailing list (by downloading the free lessons or from the dedicated page), the data controller asks for the first name and email address.
When a user subscribes to the newsletter, the specific free products requested (lessons, PDFs, etc.) are sent, and on a regular basis, free materials, informational emails, promotions and offers for relevant products and services may be sent.
Data is collected on the legal basis of the user's consent, which can be withdrawn at any time by unsubscribing from the mailing list (the unsubscribe link is available in the footer of all emails).
A monthly backup of the mailing list is kept in the form of an Excel file, which is kept in a safe place and is not shared with anyone.
When a user opens and views the emails, some basic analytical data is also collected, such as IP address, browser and operating system, a basic configuration, and the date and time of the visit. This data is collected automatically by the web server and through web beacons and tracking cookies.
